Ritu Kapoor, Principal of Ritu Interiors, is a Long Island based interior designer who specializes in working with commercial clients in business and hospitality design. 

Ritu's unique point of view has been honed by her passion for travel, which she has continued to do over the past 25 years. During this period, she perfected her fluency in German, Hindi and English, while cultivating a deep love for Indian history and its fine art, design and architecture, which has had an immense influence on her work. Her designs bear a refined aesthetic and ingenuity in mixing periods and cultures.

Ritu has designed dozens of medical facilities, retail outfits, and private homes throughout the Greater New York area. Her goal is to work with her clients to increase potential of their business and property in the market. She is fully dedicated to her work and believes in the importance of comfortable and elegant surroundings. She works closely with her clients to deliver designs that are distinctive and refreshingly unique.

Past

Ritu began working as an Interior Designer after earning her degree from the New York School of Interior Design in 1997. Prior to design school, Ritu earned her bachelor's degree in German and English Literature from Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi, India. She graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a graduate degree in Communication Arts. Ritu worked in radio as an on-air news personality and in television news production while raising her family.
